9/29/2017: Jury Verdict for the Defense on the Serious Injury Threshold

Jason secured a jury verdict in favor of our clients, the defendants, on the issue of the serious injury threshold.  In this case, our client struck the plaintiffs’ vehicle in the rear at a traffic light.  The three occupants of the vehicle (a mother and her two sons) all claimed nearly identical injuries as a result of this minor accident.  The case proceeded to trial with the mother and one of her sons claiming they sustained permanent personal injuries.  The jury found that neither plaintiff sustained a serious injury and award no money to either plaintiff.  Hyatt v.
