6/22/2017: Summary Judgment Motion Granted on Issue of Liability in Pedestrian Knockdown
After lengthy and very contentious litigation, the Bronx Supreme Court granted Connor’s summary judgment on the issue of liability for this pedestrian knockdown case. This motion required in-depth knowledge of the nuances of the law pertaining to automobile accidents involving pedestrians as well as various evidentiary matters. The Court agreed with our argument that, focusing only on the evidence which was admissible, our client who was driving a vehicle could not have avoided the accident with a pedestrian who ran into the street from behind a school bus without looking.
