Katherine is the newest member of Keane & Bernheimer where she brings years of courtroom experience. She handles all aspects of automobile liability cases from intake to verdict. Katherine also has extensive experience in Family Court and Criminal Court. During her over 15 years as an attorney, Katherine has handled hundreds of cases and provided legal services to clients.
Prior to joining Keane & Bernheimer, Katherine was an assistant district attorney at the Manhattan DA’s Office where she was in the sex crimes unit and domestic violence unit, she worked at various non-profits assisting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Family Court and supervising attorneys. Katherine also worked at large firms where she handled insurance defense and malpractice cases from intake to verdict, including motions, depositions, and court appearances.
Katherine Graduated from Pace University School of Law where she participated in the Prosecution of Domestic Violence Clinic and started the Family Court Externship. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Connecticut. While at UCONN, Katherine was an active participant at the Women’s Center where she provided rape crisis services.
